Man I really do like these braids but I am having a hard time justifying the price jump from the Team dynamics. What don't i know that might make me a beleiver?

What's the price diff?
Pro Rally 1 TD wheels retail for 175-200 vs. 225 for the Winrace gravel wheel so $25-50 per wheel? Does that sound about right?

Do the Team Dynamic wheels have the steel inserts in the lug holes?
Where are they made? Where are Braid made?
Probably all good wheels though regardless. I like the look and such of the Braid wheels better. They've been fine on Scott's Open Light car. Then again, TD have been fine on a bunch of other cars. We do have a few bent ones from Mitch's Open STI in the container.

In my opinion the Team Dynamics Pro Rally 1 and BRAID Winrace TA are about the same price, weight and strength. Both are great for stage rally on lighter cars or SCCA RallyCross. The BRAID Acropolis however, as the name suggests, is a step up in strength and rigidity and likely the last wheel you'll ever need.

As far as I know these are still running in RA. Can't vouch for the car however:

TD are made in England (like me) and the BRAIDs are made in Barcelona, Catalunya. Right next to WRC Spain.

Yeah! Tarmac wheel with skinny spokes Fawk Yeah!

And Paul, I don't think VW have entered their "WRC car" yet, that low low start number indicates its somehing else. Like something, but not a World Rally Car, maybe "some car near the last in Rally Portogallo?"

That car just needs a little sheet metal work. I'm sure it can be fixed! Seriously though.. doesn't that make you cringe? Hopefully the occupants weren't hurt *too* badly (cause you know they musta taken a beating).

Ouch! Looks like Speedlines but, based on the rest of the car, even a BRAID would have been toast.

Yep. Probalby not WRC, yet

Wow these are wheels I didnt know existed, and the price isnt as bad as I thoguht it would be for some of the more pavement oriented wheels(I'm a street guy, for now..just like rally racing in general, which is why I am here..)

I like the winrace a and winrace a safari in 17x8 for my XR4...
