Turn down the promotion!

You can always get promoted after the Rally..
Come on, think outside the box, John

And you could get even a bigger promotion in the rally! MEGA-organiser!!!

Is this the only rally within a reasonable driving distance to me now? Any rally groups over here?

Reasonable for rally or reasonable for you? We had volunteers at STPR last weekend from Florida and other states no near by. Reasonable for rallying is ~ 8-10 hours.

Sandblast already happened this year but that's not far from you. I'm moving Near you(goldsboro) next month. I'm hoping WV comes back next year. I want to drive that one.

There are lots of rally people in your area. Including the dark lord himself, Anders Green.

this is why people need to get more involved with their local rallies so they aren't dependent on a single person

First Rally: 2010 First RallyX: 2004 (a bunch)
Driver (0), Co-Driver (7)
Organizer (3), Volunteer (3)
Cars Built (2.5), Engines Blown (2) Cages Built (0) # of rotations (3.5)

IF those single people allow "people' to get involved. That is a well known problem----as you have discovered, eh?

yeah, i was lookin at the map. I wouldnt mind workin RWV or SB. But the others look just too far to take any extended time off yet. I didnt mind driving the 7 hours for Big White. Had a blast both times I went. But they also paid for hotel and fed us lunch. I didnt mind the drive out to The Dalles either for OTR. But that was prob only 4 hours max.

I was just doing a quick search for any rally clubs (like ORG or Rainier) that are around here. Seeing RWV and SB i was hoping there was something I could weasle myself into.

I help out with sandblast. How involved do you want to be. Pm here and we catch up. I am in the Raleigh area often enough.
