Think I am more rustic than urbanite, just ask the people that see my Dodge Ram 2500 truck, only thing missing is the gun rack.

Hi

The best thing is to measure your head aournd the temples, send me or call me with the size in either inches or cm,, and I will convert it to a peltor size. 60 cm is a large peltor for example.

Thanks

Hi

Roundish, sorry but I do not understand.
Most helmets are round/sphere shape on the inside.

Outside is different if you are a speed skier or F1 driver.

Please explain your question, please take a look at the photo in the first post.

Thanks

Dan

I am going to measure tonight but my various Bell's and Nolan's are medium and I usually buy a 7 1/8" hat.

Dan, I think what John is refering to is that some helmets tend to rounder shaped inside (like Bell) and others are more oval (like Arai). Oval headed people hate wearing Bell helmets.

Thanks

I think Mothra is right on what JV's thinking.

I was given a Stilo that doesn't seem to fit anybody who hasn't had their forehead crushed by Klaus the forklift driver...I can wear it, but it wouldn't be fun to wear all day. I guess that just means my forehead has only been crushed by a Kevvie bat.

But my SA95 Bell fits OK, and I have HJC and G-Max snowmobile helmets that feel pretty good on my head. JV may need something to fit a slightly different shaped head, like this:

Poor Dan probably isn't up to speed on the way this forum operates. grinning smiley

Hi

I think round to oval is a good description,my head has not need beaten with a bat, but I do have a long forehead, and I can wear the peltor for a long time.

So to answer the questions, yes it is roundish to oval.

No I was referring to them being Peltor.
Peltor is a Swedish company.
Swedes are commonly known as "Squareheads", and here's a photo of a typical one :

Ask any Norwegian or Dane why Sweden didn't honor their mutual defense treaties in WWII and they'll say "You can't expect people to fight a modern war without helmets can you? Well the Swedes couldn't find a factory that made square helmets, so there you have it, it's understandable..."

I was just wondering if these were like 'export" models which would fit normal human shaped heads........

ba- dooom!
