I'm daily driving a 1987 240 wagon right now. Makes a good truck. Kinda sounds like one too, with too much valve lash and noisy Yokohama rally tires.

Car has not been driven for a few years.
Body in great shape. Might be able to get back on road, only known problem was transmission but having sat on driveway it may have other issues now.
Would also consider selling car for parts. All offers, trades will be considered.

Wikitards says 110 pounds heavier for a wagon. I bet in stripped shell and rally form it's much closer to the same weight. Wagon is bound to have more interior plastics that are thicker, more sound deadening in the entire back half and more glass.

I feel it's rude to point out that it took longer to complain than it did to just look at it winking smiley(hope the humor comes through) in truth I got paged to the ICU and wanted to post it before I forgot.

Yeah, have done some hooning, came around a corner with cop coming other way, did not look twice. I routinely cruise down the freeway at 10 over.

My old wagon is up for sale. '79 245. It's getting a new clutch and a lower mileage transmission in a few weeks. Just did the brakes (pads, rotors turned, MC) It runs and drives mostly great, but could use some work as it's 30+yrs old (bushings come to mind). The body is decent but there are some dents.
$700 obo, I'll add some pics when I get some

I more meant I could have snagged it for Dan. According to my wife, I am not buying anything else with a motor until the kids graduate (my oldest just turned two)
Serves me right for buying a car in another state on our anniversary weekend.

I might actually be heading to the Boise area this summer for a few days. I could always take the bus or fly back.
