I've just been watching the play by play, but cheering my team on.

Broke joker? Yes, but I still make it happen...

What's we gonna do about da ring gear???

You are of the minority that represent that's for sure.

Ya but when I was a player in the bike game we actually adjusted, bent back, tapped out and fixed shit.
Nowadays you all are just replacement sealed bearing jockeys.

Ohhh, I see.

Well I thought everyone builds bikes these days, just to look pretty, or make them look like a pro athlete while they tow it around on their $80k SUV.

Details associated with appearance, fine tuning and adjusting are certainly my forte.

Getting creative with taps, drills and swinging weighted objects are better left to those more accomplished than I.

You will be adjusting it: heat it up till it singes your finger, tap it with the drift and hammer and it'll scoot down a fraction, move around and around tapping and it scoots, put another way for boys with such delicate sensibilities like you, fine adjust its position and keep slightly fine adjusting its position. Till you FINE-ally tap it off.

Quit snivelling or I'll begin to wonder if you really like girls......

Not dissing you young blood it's just the way things are going.
I mean everything is going to the modular swap out parts crap, look at the new cars.
Freaking parts jockeys are taking thousand dollar guesses swapping out computers on that new fangled stuff.
With 235 + computers on the new E class it's a money making proposition for sure.
Listen to it,drive it,actually even look at the systems in a ground up manner?
Lost art it seems, unless us old farts can pass the old ways along.
We always manage to find or make something work with all the crap and tools I have around, just gotta learn the tricks and improvise.

I'm interested in one of these with pickups. I PMed John on June 4th or 5th, Got a short return message saying no problem & he would get back to me. Now I guess he is out of town & nothing is happening til he get's back?
Is there a real time when these will be available & does anyone know when that might be. I'm putting a motor together right now, needs a clutch & flywheel & need to know. If it will be a week or 2 I could wait, any longer no. Paul

Maybe he should PM the Mods and ask them why they ban somebody who has done so much to steer the young innocents away from foolishness....(squirterizational mod loaner kit, the error of ignoring reciprocation weights, the joy of correct gear ratios)
As for nothing happening....they are ready to go to the CNC mill.
Here's one home just for the scale. They look like they be under 16 lbs when the holes are drilled, slightly under 15 on the 60-2 ones

How do I interpret the weights on the scale in the picture? I've never seen one that didn't have a digital readout before.

That's the sign that in sign language in Cantonese translates back to the old Hebrew saying, "Just because a man may act like a goat and steel your cheese, that man is still a man and kicking him in the balls will always make you feel better."

Or something like that right?

Yeah! I think it came from the Buddhist monks who traversed the mountains via Yunnan
They were inspired by this vision the saw, it was a sign:

That place has been a ship without a rudder for some time now.

Broken assed website to boot, now it's taking on water.

Great crew, but methinks the rats all left at the last port of call.
