I'll look on my Oldpile shelf for bearings.

Do that, Bob's right, finding decent mains is hard.
I wanna see VanderVell or Clevite-77 (post Michigan buy-out)

Nothing on my shelf. The main caps and bearings for the 2 liter are in a box in your garage somewhere.

Don't think so. I did start a "Round 2 JVAB Soooper Bitchin Steel Flywheels" thread in For Sale on Turdboat Pricks.

You signed up over there? Wass your secret name there?

Maybe "culberro", not sure though. The ol' ovlov wagoon got traded for a '65 plymouth fury (!?) and the turbo 2-doors needed an engine swap... hence the 60-2 flywheel. Do you have any sound advice on the lh2.4 upgrade?

YIKES! Fury! Do those have blocks of wood that rub the rim for brakes????

I only peripherially help on Kevvi Hoikansainalainenen's LH2.2 conversion.

I's a builder type guy--ya know like carving parts from steel, and somehow screwing them together.. I "tune" carbies good you know like Webers (and good because I don't get "creative"winking smiley.

It SEEMS the smrat thing to do is to get the whole harness from a later 240, always confirming from at least 3 sources the PN for the parts both dizzy and ECU.
The 2.2 thing was easy and done as an intermediary step prior to something more easily fiddle-able and tolerant of higher bewstz...

I can't recall what the dealio is to harvest the loom etc from those horrible 747 K cars is but it hain a biggie. Now personally I would give some thought to triggering at the front pulley so that maybe a guy could get to and check/replace the vital senor with less shenanigans that at the back...

but I's spoiled
