anything you can do to a volvo sedan or coupe can be done to a volvo wagon.

that thing could be a hoot with an intercooler, some more boost and some good tires.

or it could be a nightmare.

find a rally friend in the area and go look at cars. i am sure there is someone on anarchy that is reasonably close to look at stuff with you.

yeah that'd be cool. there sure arent any people into rally on this island though. id have to either get a ride or buy a real POS and pay the 50 dollar ferry fee to get off island and back.

You'd be crazy to not talk to William about some of this stuff he has:
http://www.rallyanarchy.com/phorum/read.php?7,48116

Look up what Sean M has done in the events he's done: rally, then wash the car
rally, then wash the car
rally, then wash the car
rally, then wash the car
rally then re-shell, free car in 5 days.

There's a phone number there, call on the phone.

Simple, cheap sturdy, excellent handling cars

here's one the guy is way optimistic about, but nice color:

The first weekend after I bought my XR4ti we did a little mountain drive. And by little I mean over 200 miles.
Here's a section of the route that we take.
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=sedalia,+co&hl=en&ll=39.172725,-105.354166&spn=0.039392,0.104628&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=41.089062,107.138672&t=h&z=14

We could have a 1000 unique miles of stages if only politics would allow us to use NF roads.

We'd done these drives many times before in varying rally cars. Subarus, turbo Talon, my Turbo Colt, etc. I never smiled as much as I did that first weekend with the Merkur, bone stock except for a welded rear diff.

I don't think so... At least I've never been pulled over for not having one...

Take some driving around, but you can barrow my van and tow dolly.

And CALL THE GUY! Talk!

Figure what state its in and between us all, we can scare up parts and skills to make it go.
