Model: Focus ZX3

Color: Maroon
Mileage: 116,000 (odo reading), actual mileage 25,000
Transmission: Manual

Price: $13,000

Description:

I'm selling my 2001 Ford Focus rally car. I bought it a little over a month ago to participate in Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (STPR) in Wellsboro, PA. I participated in the event; however I had to DNF due to gearbox issues. Since then the car has been repaired and runs great, I do suspect that it will probably need a newer gear box in the future.

The reason I'm selling this car is because I 'm trying to begin to build a Ford Fiesta for rallying.

If you have any questions or would like to see car please contact me.

Holy cow, no kidding. I sold my Foci for like $9k, and it was far more prepped than that, and only had two events on it. Might wanna reconsider your pricing, friend.

Hey I don't want to make a big deal about this but round these parts we always require people to list their real name and real location in either the side bar thing or the signature...

It was requested when you first came here, and you've not complied.

That's not very polite..

Then now you were asked about your cars spec, politely again.

You ignored that. And that's not very polite either...

What not turn down the attitude and tell us about the car so if somebody asks about "do you know any cars available?" we can answer with some details...

Stock motor?
Stock trans?
Stock 01 brakes?

(Give you a hint for free: talk up the good points, but ignoring big obvious questions like motor and trans makes you look like you're either hiding something, or don't know much about what makes a car valuable.. and it looks like its a stock old Focus with a cage (good!) seats, belts (how much life left in the belts??? Important question!) presumably a sump guard and a log book. And that looks more like a $4000 car tops, Do the math yourself. You put a price like you have there and you sure as hell better have better answers that your rude "tough shit" answer, cause that's how you're coming across.)

Hey I apologize if my answer came across as arrogant. I thought the person that answered my with the question marks was being sarcastic. I guess I read wrong into that. I'm only here to talk about rally and try to sell my car. Once again Im sorry. Oh and I updated my info.

The engine is great and has no problems, the fans work and stays cool. It is a stock engine and a stock transmission. The tranny may need to be changed in the future. Stock brakes. I dont know the exp dates on the seats or belts of hand but I can post that tomorrow.

If you have any questions I'd be glad to answer

whats the point of the new fiesta for you? you going to do the r2 kit?
dress up and dance around like ken block?

stock fiesta with a cage is no better than what you have its poky and slow and
bad brakes. I really don't see the worth if its not the r2 kit or a club man $300,000
awd car.

I would do the math good suspension brakes and do a small turbo kit limited slip
and hold off on the gears and see if that on paper works. Because that would save you a hell of a lot of money.

Isn't that sumpin? I suggested the same thing when Gene Mc was making noises of dropping out..
What a brilliant way to get people inspired!

Probably should pull off the mufflers to help inspire them, right?
