A friend out in Nude Hampster could sure use a cheap block since he just punched thru the thin ass cylinders while fighting with a drooly freeze plug.

John--

Have friend check out the auction in in the off -topic thread. Here's the direct link, never mind.

http://www.auctionsamerica.com/events/all-lots.cfm?SaleCode=TB12

Apparently that's where the rest of the world's GTXs went to die. Pallets of engines.

If I wasn't living on TOTAL CREDIT right now while waiting for some checks, I'd probably turn my yard into a used car lot.

Or Chris might have something...

oh man that would sure come in handy.

oh yeah pashka, if you're looking to stick around here you better get your name and location up there so we know youre not just some guy who saw an add for a gtx and decided to whip up a half assed profile in order to make a post or 2. but either way, welcome to RallyAnarchy.

who me? I am in Burien. It looks like this is going to be my home for the next 2 or 3 years.

I'm buying a B6T head & other engine pieces from a guy somewhere in the midwest. I believe he still has the short block, cheap. I think it has a little over 100k miles. Also a guy in NJ, but he would only sell it as a long block.

I don't need the engine I have a 99 miata BP pushing 350 whp @ 10psi. It would've been sick to bolt that up to a gtx trans.

For a few seconds anyhow, it would have been. Until the gearbox puked a big one.

It's money you have up your sleeve isn't it?

Money helps not worrying.

No Joke... GTX gearbox internals are made of glass.

I have a GTX dog-box which needs some repair which could be for sale. Held up powerwise on my 1.8 BP motor with 2560r turbo. Something let go when I shredded a tire and kept driving.

Also - just saw that my old GTX is for sale - just posted up to the GTX yahoo e-group...not sure how to link that here, but here's a link to pics he posted:
