Shadow? Is that the same as a Starion?
Why don't you just say? All those Japanese all look the same to me.

Know nothing about the Mitsu V6, but if you gotta have a 6, then a V6 would be my choice since the cranks are shorter, blocks shorter, and all things being equal, stiffer.

But generally, if it has big long rockers and angled valves, I say blah.

And I bet its that miserable central cam and long rocker crap.

Yep,

Ya owes me a nickle.

meh..

From wikipedia.......

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Shadow

Both 2-door and 4-door models were built using a variant of the K-car platform, known as the P-body, which was based on a combination of the Dodge Daytona's suspension with a shortened version of the Dodge Lancer's body.

Shadows came with the following engines, although not all engines were available each year[1][2]
2.2 L I4 - 93 hp (69 kW) and 122 lb·ft (165 N·m) of torque
2.5 L I4 - 100 hp (70 kW) and 135 lb·ft (183 N·m) of torque
3.0 L V6 - 142 hp (106 kW) and 171 lb·ft (232 N·m) of torque
2.2 L turbocharged I4 - 146 hp (109 kW) and 170 lb·ft (230 N·m) of torque
2.2 L turbocharged I4 - 175 hp (130 kW) and 175 lb·ft (237 N·m) of torque (Shelby T2)(87 CSX)
2.2 L turbocharged I4 - 174 hp (130 kW) and 210 lb·ft (285 N·m) of torque (CSX-VNT)
2.5 L turbocharged I4 - 150 hp (112 kW) and 190 lb·ft (258 N·m) of torque
2.5 L turbocharged I4 - 151 hp (113 kW) and 210 lb·ft (285 N·m) of torque (High Torque ECU 91 only)

So, she's short, fat and weak... and Fawking WHAT wheel drive?
K car?

Oh dear.

Oh dear.

Gage can't you just find somebody in the pervie part of Craigslist to just beat you and like humiliate you and take your money?

There's a LOT of pervs amongst all them Bible thumpers so should be easy to find some sadist....
Try it in your spare time if you got such a need for pain..

But for rally, Shirley you can find something easier to have MORE fun with.
It doesn't matter if soembody else has one, we're not really all that much unique snowflakes, what we mostly share is being flakes..but not that unique...so get something that's easy, as real advantages in terms of long term ownership...
What is it with that concept that you don't see?

Oh my gawd. My step dad had a Shadow when Gangsta's Paradise and Boys II Men were cool. Some of my first memories were in that car. You should get it. Because wrong wheel drive.

John. Its fwd. The real reason for even thinking about getting it is that Im buying it for 500$ . Needs a tune up and cage updates , but if I can sale my car , put a $1000 in the shadow ill have something like $6000 to put in my rally fund for 2013.. Remember. Im a poor dirt farmer. It is under powered but I can drop in a mitsu diamante engine (same engine)with 10:1.1 compression and bump the power up to 185hp &195ftlbs tq .. This is all if the talon sales or I dont tear it all to shit @ chase the dragon hill climb..lol

You following now john. Lifes a bitch and I really hate even thinkin about salin a car ive put 2 years of labor and endless$$ into but its the only way I can afford to race.. FML! Maybe I can get some help on better boingers for it from your.Wink Wink!!
